En el marco de las celebraciones con motivo del XX Aniversario, tenemos el gusto de anunciar que el miércoles 27 de marzo de 2019 a las 12:30 horas.tendrá lugar en el Salón de Grados "Antonio Jiménez Torrecillas" de la ETSAGr una conferencia que impartirá el arquitecto Darius Karacsony, sobre su experiencia como arquitecto investigador y profesor en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Lausana (EPFL).

Short Bio:
Darius Yaïch Ammon studied architecture and urbanism in Zurich, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro. He was additionally educated in the practices of Diller+Scofidio and OMA New
York. After graduating from ETH in 2010 he taught first year design studio and lectured on theory and history of architectural drawing at EPF Lausanne.
Following two years of Renaissance studies in Italy, he moved on to serve as the head of a design research program at EPFL’s atelier de la conception del l’éspace ALICE and initiated a cross-disciplinary collaboration with the Chair for Psychophysics at the Brain Mind Institute BMI.
For the academic year 2016-2017, Ammon was appointed the inaugural Tennessee Architecture Fellow as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UT College of Architecture and Design where he conducted research on light-weight construction materials parallel to teaching urban design and architectural theory classes.
Currently he is residing at the British School at Athens, working on his novel Architecture of the Soul for which he is investigating the relationship between poetry and architecture, and co-directing a digital archaeology project exploring Late Helladic settlement structures in Prehistoric Greece
